Beaded bags were an important part of a woman's traditional outfit. The beaded images included floral designs, cowboys, Native princesses, and especially horses. The baby board was attached to the pommel of the saddle, and when the mother was picking berries or digging for roots, it was hung on a nearby tree, and the breeze rocked the baby to sleep.
