 
Migration In his childhood, Talirunili travelled by boat with the other members of his camp as they moved from one site to another. The journey could be quite dangerous. On one of those trips, the boat was destroyed and about forty people, all of whom he had grown up with, drowned. The event made a deep impression on the artist. He told the story many times in sculptures, drawings and prints.    |
