Canadian consumers could choose among an extensive variety of printed blue designs on ceramics. Some favoured scenes of their own country, such as this one showing a view of Kingston, situated by Lake Ontario. Some of these Canadian landscapes were destined for non-Canadian markets, since the Staffordshire industry was responding to a general interest in landscape designs on ceramics.
