"A lot depends on who I'm making the moccasins for. If it's for a friend or myself, I might use very specific colours or designs. If they are for resale or as an order from someone I don't know, I won't do a design of any spiritual significance. I just let the colours flow. The style of these moccasins is based on a pair of black Chinese slippers. This adapted style has been a very popular one".
